E-commerce brands
Brands selling on a rented platform with a dozen apps around it.
- “We pay for a dozen apps and none of them talk to each other.”
- “Every app has its own bill, its own data and its own limits.”
- “Large orders still arrive by email because the store cannot take them.”
What the apps really cost
Loyalty, reviews, testing, promotions, forms and analytics each arrive as a separate subscription and a separate script. We build them as modules of one store, sharing one customer record and one set of events, and the separate bills stop.
A storefront the company owns
Catalog, variants, promotions, checkout and accounts are software the company owns, with payments on standard payment processors. The platform fee and the cut of every order stop, and a new feature is built rather than rented.
Migration reconciled before cutover
Customers, orders, gift-card balances, points and reviews come across on their original identifiers, and every old address redirects. Shoppers sign in with an emailed code, because passwords cannot be exported from a rented platform, so every customer keeps an account. The old store stays live until the new one has taken real orders.
Built for how the company sells
Bulk and custom orders get a quote desk that prices them and takes payment through the same checkout, and shoppers filter to the sizes and variants that are in stock.
The objection
Moving platforms will cost us our search rankings and our customers.
Every old address redirects to its new page, customers sign in with an emailed code so no password is lost, and the old store keeps running until the new one has proven itself with real orders.
Where to start
- Custom e-commerce storefrontSales and CRMA custom e-commerce storefront replaces the rented platform, its app stack and its cut of every order with a store the company owns. Customers, order history and gift-card balances move over in rehearsed runs, reconciled on counts and totals before cutover.
- Quote-to-cashSales and CRMQuote-to-cash turns a quote into an order, the order into an invoice, and the invoice into a payment link. Every document is generated from the live record, so the quoted price carries through to the invoice unchanged.
- Inventory analytics and reorderingInventory and fulfillmentInventory analytics watches sell-through and lead times per item, flags what is running low and drafts the reorder before stock runs out. Slow movers and dead stock are listed with their value on the shelf.
- Plain-language reportingReporting and analyticsPlain-language reporting answers questions about the business from live data, with every business term defined once and used the same way in every answer. Which customers are past due, what shipped last week and where inventory is short are answered without a report request.
Questions this answers
- What is the real margin after discounts and returns?
- Which sizes lost sales because they were out of stock?
- What does each app cost against what it earns?
